“ First visit for my mom's birthday and pleasantly surprised that her dinner was free for her birthday! Food selection was good and the few cooked items in buffet was also tasty: chicken wings, noodles and fried rice. Meat portions were ample and garlic beef was particularly smooth and tender. My family enjoyed the lamb as well. We are a family that likes veggies so would have liked a few more choices however, did enjoy the watercress. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. We'll be back! ”
“ Food is ready quickly. Ambiance needs more space its crowded/tight. Taste of food is good and has many choices to add on the hotpot. Pricey though. ”
“ Happy Lamb is an overlooked gem in my opinion. It's a great place if you've never tried hot pot before, or you're an expert. They have a huge variety of items to satisfy the minimalists who don't try lots of new stuff, plus more options for experienced and adventurous hot pot eaters. You have to get the half-and-half option for the hot pot liquids, so you can explore which foods taste better in the spicy and non-spicy broth. The prices are really fantastic for all you can eat. You will definitely feel as though you got your moneys worth. Not long ago, they changed from delivering everything to your table as you need it, to having a buffet style section for most things. I can't give them five stars because of the hassle of just having to get up and get it yourself. One final pro tip, it's usually warmer and a bit steamier than the average restaurant, which makes sense with all the hot pots going, so you may want to dress accordingly. ”
“ We got best of both worlds. I like the pork belly and beef slices. The fried bun and noodles taste great too. There's no wait and the food is good. ”
“ My darling recommended I come here after mentioning not being able to find anyone else to go with me to hot pot or kbbq places. He told me I can eat there by myself if I can't find anyone else. I'm comfortable doing this but it would be nice to have someone to go with. Anyways, I came here on the perfect day, a rainy day. The staff was very helpful and attentive. My first time at a hot pot was great! I got three meats (mostly beef and the pork belly), lots of veggies, shrimp, and squid. I got the regular and the mild broth? A bit of dipping sauce. I can't forget the honey Jasmine tea (not the exact name but it was along those lines). I got full so I didn't finish. Honestly, the best food I've had in a while. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it as I'm a little weary of soups, stews, and such but I loved it! Definitely coming back and hopefully soon! ”
“ Date night hot pot visit. It always takes a bit to get in here but that's because it's always busy. There are several hot pot base choices and dipping sauce. It's fun to see all of the different items you can add from the tofu, seafood, veggies and noodles. The meats are tender and fresh. We've gone here several times and I kept forgetting to review. Hence there is a mix of photos from different trips. ”
“ A great place to gorge in hot pot as it is now all you can it at this location. $24.95 for lunch. I loved the fresh wheat noodles. I selected both types of tofu, but it's better to get the firm. The silken falls apart in the broth. The cod fish was fresh and quite good when dipped into my handmade sauce. Bok choy and Chinese cabbage were fresh, tasty and made a great choice for hot pot as well. The taro was good but it took too long to cook. Service is great too. Staff were very attentive to our needs. ”
